blue Cinema Abaton, which blue Cinema lists as Abaton Zürich, is on Heinrichstrasse in the west of Zurich, beside the Hardbrücke. It is a multiplex with 12 rooms, including a 4DX room, and blue Cinema also names IMAX, a café-bar and a First Lounge among the cinema's features. The operator says the Abaton has hosted many Swiss premieres, from James Bond to Star Wars.
Access depends on the room. blue Cinema says all rooms are reached by lift: rooms 1 and 2 in the basement, room B on the ground floor, rooms 3, 4 and A on the first floor and rooms 5 to 10 on the second floor. The lift is used with the help of staff, so ask a member of the team when you arrive. Room 2 is listed as not wheelchair accessible; the other rooms have wheelchair spaces.
