Arthouse Piccadilly is a two-room cinema at Mühlebachstrasse 2 in Zurich, run by Arthouse, which also operates the Le Paris and Movie cinemas in the city. The Piccadilly first opened on 31 October 1929. Its smaller room began in 1973 as the Commercio, a small cinema beside the restaurant of the same name; it was joined with the Piccadilly in 1991 and renamed Piccadilly 2 in a 2011 rebuild, when its entrance stopped running through the restaurant. Piccadilly 1 has 183 seats and Piccadilly 2 has 40. Photographs from Andy Warhol's Factory hang in the foyer and in Piccadilly 1.
Arthouse's programme includes films in German and in other languages, and each screening carries a language label such as "E/d,f", "Ov/d" or "D". An "Ov" label does not by itself mean English audio. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
Arthouse's venue page has a map link and a link to the ZVV journey planner. Its site lists the Ristorante Commercio by the cinema.
