Arthouse Le Paris is a one-room cinema at Gottfried-Keller-Strasse 7 in central Zurich, run by Arthouse, which also operates the Movie and Piccadilly cinemas in the city. It opened in 1963 and was extensively renovated in 1998; since then, photographs of 1950s and 1960s Hollywood stars by Edward Quinn have given the room its look. The main hall has 311 seats, and a curving staircase from the foyer leads to a balcony with 95 more.
Le Paris hosts gala premieres, special screenings with international guests and festival screenings, including Pink Apple, Yesh! and ZFF. Arthouse's programme includes films in German and in other languages, and each screening carries a language label such as "E/d,f", "Ov/d" or "D". An "Ov" label does not by itself mean English audio.
